it depends on what type of family you have. My family is strictly military, so I would never share it with them. But smoking weed does not make you a bad person. I smoke, I've been smoking for nearly 4 years and I've been fine. I never got into other drugs, I dont sell my body for money, and so on. And on top of that there are lot of bad people

Smoking makes you a bad person, in the sense of not only damaging the health of your self but those around you from carcinogens. Smoking weed destroys much of the pyschoactive compounds, thus vaporaization the prefered method.
Smoking weed most definately does not make you a bad person. It doesn't really effect who you are.So how could it make you a bad person? It's not really a good choice..considering it's illegal..But it doesn't make who you are it's just a thing you do. Depending on your family and your relationships yes, you can lose their trust because it's illegal
