Before the darkness is cute but the after is her expressing her individuality. She doesn't want to be Mom, and wants to be cool and sexy. Has to be careful with Dark though, it can turn into a cesspool pulling u into a dark place that can be hard to escape from.

Dark looks like she's not wearing any makeup, while before seems to have been taken right before prom. So it's not really a fair comparison. If you honestly want an answer about what really looks better, give us a "dark" picture with full makeup and whatever else she does.
