Salem needs a farmer's market!

Salem NEEDS a farmer's market. There are a few options. Riley Plaza has plenty of parking, grassy areas and bricks that can be washed down. There should be a market space on the Salem Common. It has to be downtown, and it has to be walkable - and within reach of the T station. We come from Boston, and the farmer's market on Copley Square is succ

ful. A farmer's market would bring people into Salem and into the downtown. And Salem needs that -- you have to leave the city to do many things. It's time to offer people people something they want in Salem.
